«Huit» is the story of a child trying to learn how to dream in a sleeping world, a slow reality, where even fantasies are exhausted. Money, fame, success - tempting, but can’t be bothered. Many soft, small destinies cross paths like the twirls of the number 8. They seep saliva or stretch out in lasers. Impossible to catch but they shine, they lure, a line of sight escaping towards infinity. Perhaps then we should switch to fiction, sharpen the script, with a hyperrealist daydream method learned online (the Shifting) , to bring back a little hope. As if it was possible, like eating light.

"Huit" est l'histoire d'un enfant qui essaie d'apprendre à rêver dans un monde endormi, une réalité lente, où même les fantasmes sont épuisés. L'argent, la gloire, le succès - c'est tentant, mais ce n'est pas la peine. De nombreux petits et doux destins se croisent comme les volutes du chiffre 8. Ils suintent la salive ou s'étirent en lasers. Impossible à attraper mais ils brillent, ils attirent, une ligne de mire s'échappe vers l'infini. Peut-être faudrait-il alors passer à la fiction, affiner le scénario, avec une méthode de rêve éveillé hyperréaliste apprise en ligne (le Shifting), pour redonner un peu d'espoir. Comme si c'était possible, comme de manger de la lumière.
